While the idea of totems is great, they are found and cleansed too easily, and since they were introduced alongside the Hag all of her perks revolve around Hexes. Perks notwithstanding, the Hag has the ability to set traps around the map that, when a survivor gets too close and sets it off, she can teleport to so long as she is within its ra

Given the abilities’ instant kill property, a smart Hillbilly player will use the Chainsaw charge as a quick burst to take out a Survivor, rather than using its full charge. Given the drawback of running into an object, a smart Hillbilly will quickly strike with the instant kill attack to kill a Survivor. This requires some advanced understanding of positional advantage in Dead by Daylight as it will require players to understand a good angle to cut off an unsuspecting Survivor, but when mastered makes Hillbilly an imposing fo

Finding success with Michael Myers is about being patient with the character. He is not as aggressive as a Killer as some of the other roster members are, but when you acquire enough Evil Within gauge, he becomes a steam roller, killing everyone in his path. So simply put, stay patient and smart, use as much time as you can get to level up your Evil Within gauge, and then enjoy the unleashed potential of Michael Meyers. He is a Killer with a high skill ceiling but he is incredibly rewarding for players willing to put the time in with his toolkit. So take your time and be wise with Michael Meyers and before you know it you will be taking out Survivors in no t

Michael Myer’s first ability is his Stalking ability, which allows Michael to see a white outline of any Survivor in his sight. Explaining the use of this ability is rather complicated, as it provides some rather obscure utility to Myer’s playstyle that is deeply connected to his other ability, Evil Within. But this Stalk ability is the foundation of Michael Myer’s playstyle and is what makes the character such an intimidating and deadly threat in a ma

Ghost Face — Ghost Face, the iconic killer from the Scream franchise, is one of Dead by Daylight ‘s stealthy killers, which makes him powerful in his own right. Ghost Face has a similar mechanic to Myers, where he gets bonuses for stalking his prey instead of chasing outright. When Ghost Face stalks his prey enough, he can instantly down that target. What makes him different from Meyers is that his stealth doesn’t go away for good. However, his main drawback is that if survivors are looking at him his stealth breaks and temporarily renders it usel

The Nightmare — The Nightmare, or more commonly known as Freddy Krueger, ranks at the top of the list for a number of reasons, almost hilariously so considering how low he sat on the tier lists for so such a long time. For many survivors, Freddy has earned the «Nightmare» name due to the difficulty of playing against him. While survivors are awake, they will be unable to see Freddy if he is further than 32 meters away. From 16 to 32 meters away, they will intermittently see him, and if he is 16 meters or closer then survivors will see him and hear his terror rad

One of the most interesting and competitive online experiences, Dead by Daylight _ pits 4 survivors against one player-controlled killer. With a huge roster of both Survivors and Killers, fans of the game are spoiled for choice in regards to their options within _Dead by Daylight. From the Hillbilly to the Demogorgon players can choose a variety of interesting and unique Killers to play with based upon their preferred style of play. The gameplay of dead by daylight beginner Guide by Daylight is relatively simple, survive the onslaught of the Killer while completing various objectives throughout the map, while the killer’s primary objective is to kill the survivors as quickly as possible. Gearhead is great for revealing generators and finding survivors, but if a survivor does not get skill checks due to RNG it is useless. Dead Man’s Switch punishes survivors who get off of generators to help a teammate off a hook, but at max level the 45 second timer may not be enough — especially with a coordinated team. Hex: Retribution is also a great perk for finding survivors but Hex totems in general need a rework for them to be viable. Legion is an aggressive killer; you have to constantly be moving and attacking to get the most benefit out of them.
